As it stands, it's not clear enough how this rule should be applied. The rule will be rewritten to explain that a unit of Lobstrosities needs to declare at the beginning of each round of combat whether the unit is attempting to parry or not.
If the unit attempts to parry then all Lobstrosity models in the unit will lose their killing blow ability for that combat phase and each model will lose an attack irrespective of whether the enemy manages to score a hit on the lobstrosity model.
The lobstrosity unit rerolls each enemy dice* that hit the lobstrosity unit. If the roll is equal or higher than the original enemy hit roll then that hit is discarded.
* note enemy to hit rolls which equalled a 6 cannot be parried. Enemies which automatically hit (eg. Magic weapon) cannot be parried.
