Assembled Giant Crab Miniature Photos - for Nautican Warhammer Army

Reapermini Giant Crab that I'm using for my Nautican Fantasy Army

Some pics (see below slideshow) to give a sense of perspective that you don't get from the Reapermini.com website.

Dimensions
------------
This is a 28mm scale miniature

Height 2.7cm
Width 5cm
Length 6cm
Base Size 50mm x 50mm

Assembly
------------
I found the miniature quite difficult to assemble (although I haven't had much practice recently !) The shell comes in 2 parts and was easy to stick together, as were the pincers. The legs were more difficult, there are 6 main legs and 2 legs at the back which are slightly thicker but shorter.

There are small indentations in the sides of the crab shell so you know where to position the limbs. I assembled the miniature upside down with the crab shell resting on my worktop. The legs would not stay in place with super glue so I used epoxy resign instead which dried rock hard overnight and appears to have done the job nicely.

After the glue had dried I was pleasantly surprised to find that all 6 main legs actually touched the ground. The 2 legs at the back do not quite touch the ground unless you lean the crab backwards slightly which creates quite a nice pose of the crab launching an attack.

Other Notes
--------------
This crab is an undead crab called "Scuttlebones" so it comes with 2 holes in it's shell (with a corpse inside !). I will be filling the holes with putty to create a complete shell.
